Founded Powered Paragliding USA, to help people enjoy the fun and benefits of powered paragliding, since 2003. A private pilot since 1980, Michael brings a lot of aviation and flying experience to the paragliding classroom.
Michael has been an aviation enthusiast almost his whole life. His interest was sparked as a young boy when he would accompany his father to work at Pan American Airlines in Miami, Florida. He would walk through the giant hangars and tour the big airplanes. Gawking at these huge metal birds ignited the desire to fly. In 1980 Michael got his private pilot's license and began exploring the Florida coast and the Bahama islands by air. Michael also took an accelerated free fall course in skydiving and experienced flying without an airplane. For the past decade Michael has been flying powered paragliders and the love affair for buzzing around in these flying machines is still going strong. He has traveled many places exploring the world by powered paraglider. He teamed up with Jeff Hamann, Phil Russman and Jeff Goin on a trip to Baja Mexico where the popular, adventure movie 'Why We Fly' was created. He particicpated in the record flight across the Panama Canal, taking off on the Carribbean coast and landing on the Pacific coast. The flight was a fund raiser for children with cancer. He has also toured Costa Rica and the pacific coast of Mexico and made several trips to Peru paramotoring and free flying. Michael loves to teach and share the joy of powered paragliding with his friends and students, and has a lot of experience to help make your flying experience fun and safe.

Brian a resident of Northern Virginia, who, after many years of other flying experience and training became solidly sold on the advantages of powered paragliding. He has been involved in all aspects of aviation since he was a kid. He discovered Powered Paragliding 3 years ago and has fallen in love with this sport. He has flown hundreds of hours in helicopters, airplanes, hot air balloons, and aerobatic planes, but nothing gives you the sensation like powered paragliding.
